If you haven’t been made aware yet, the EFF has a massive awareness campaign underway called “The Day We Fight Back“. This is how they explain it:
Big news. Today, the Internet is uniting to fight back against NSA surveillance. The political landscape has shifted dramatically since the first Snowden leaks last June. We’re at a key moment in the fight against the illegal and unconstitutional NSA spying. Now it’s up to us.
Participating website are provided with a banner that they can place on their site, which prompts visitors to contact their local US Government representatives and push back against the NSA spying. As a hacker con, we can definitely get behind that. As such, the banner is visible on the bsidesroc website, and will remain so throughout the day. If you get a chance, feel free to stop by and use the banner to fight back.
